An amorous male donkey is determined to mate with a passing female despite ferocious beatings from the owner of one of the donkeys. Traffic is stopped, a fruit stand is knocked over and the owner slips and falls but nothing can stop the impassioned donkey. I spoke with an acquaintance later who confirmed that the donkey is notorious for causing trouble in the market.
